Tara
Born in Harrisonburg, Va, grew up in Washington DC.
Studied marketing and business at Hunter college in NYC, before attending The Graham Webb Academy in Washington DC. Deva trained in NYC.
Specialty is dimensional color and upstyles. Aspiring to become a master colorist.
What makes me special/unique as a stylist? I have been in this industry for 10 years, starting out as an assistant at a small salon when I was 15, then going on to manage a high end salon and spa for 5 years before becoming a stylist.
Why I love what I do here at Imago and the industry in general? I love what I do here because being a curly girl myself I know what it's like to not know how to control my curls and just give up by throwing it in a ponytail. Being DevaChan trained has taught me how to embrace and love my hair and my curls. And if I can do that for other women, and men, straight or curly, then I'm a happy girl.
Hobbies outside of work include antiquing, traveling, running.
