Specialty- The cutting and coloring of Curly hair ,of course! Lol I'm also particularly drawn to doing beautiful reds and Auburn's. I love the look of the powerful and glamorous downtown NYC career women and I would say that that is reflected in my work.
Don't feel left out straight hair gals,I also have trained extensively in precision cutting and coloring techniques for straight hair and have fine, "swavy" hair myself.
Where born and moved from- I am a Navy brat, born on Midway Island, and have had the privilege to live in Scotland and the Azores as well as a couple years on the northern coast of Maine. I have lived in Virginia since age 11, though, (Staunton 11-25 yrs of age), and now Richmond since 1995, so I consider Richmond my home

What makes you special/unique/what stands out,(your particular area of talent) as a stylist?- I have always had the ability to see what would look best on someone before we even start the process. I also have worked hard at my communication skills during the consultation to make sure to get the important information my clients need to give me before I can make good suggestions.
Why you love what you do here at Imago and the industry in general- I love that we foster an attitude of, happy to serve, appreciating our clients, and helping each other to grow. Hairdressing is quite simply the best job in the whole world!! To be able to transform someone who is feeling ordinary to extraordinary is indescribably satisfying. Hobbies outside work- Well, were to start,... I don't think this is a hobby, but I adore my husband and business partner,Dave, and try to help him all I can and my two stepsons , Anthony and David are so cool too. I love to watch the food network with little David and talk about visiting all the great restaurants out there. Take me anywhere , I love to travel and experience new things and people. I love to run, lift weights, and I enjoy teaching spinning classes,(no, I'm not a masochist, ha ha), Any form of dancing, I'm there! When I read a good book I hear nothing around me. It's the greatest! I have a good life, no complaints!
